With Tough Times Comes Creative Measures

We on the Iron Range are coming together to solve the issues of increasing costs and resources that are not.

People on the Iron Range have a long history of being competitive in athletics, education and just about everything else.  The communities get their roots from the logging camps who competed fiercely, from the different ethnic groups who came here for work and who couldn't speak each other's languages and did not share customs.  The communities have tried for decades to move beyond this history, to work together for the good of all, but it evident that this is a process.
